The sea and the beach are the main source of inspiration for Marta Rosmaninho, the ceramist behind the brand.

 

Marta Rosmaninho

Marta Rosmaninho, founder of Umi Ceramics, has worked in the field for a couple of years for different brands. In 2015, Rosmaninho fell in love with ceramics while studying sculpture in Porto. Five years later, she decided to dedicate her career to this practice. The sea and the beach have a big presence in her work since college, and keeps appearing in her current work. Marta Rosmaninho loves to create pieces that make people fall in love with them, pieces that appeal to beauty, and that will last for many generations.
